  • The Logitech MX Vertical Wireless Mouse resembles a joystick offering a 'handshake' ergonomic design with customizable shortcuts.
  • The MX Vertical blends verticality, versatility and comfort to create a mouse designed for productivity. But, it has a few quirks that make it trickier to use than a normal mouse and a design that makes it far less portable.
  • Like most ergonomic, vertical mice, the Logitech MX Vertical isn't exclusively built or marketed as a contender for the best gaming mouse crown.
  • If you're looking to primarily play twitch shooters on your PC setup, there are better options available. On the other hand, if you primarily play strategy games or any other titles that don't require you to wildly shuttle a mouse across a surface, the Logitech MX Vertical is a fine choice. For productivity tasks, it is easily one of the best mice money can buy.
  • It takes some time to get past the odd design, high price-point and quirks of a vertical mouse, but the MX Vertical is a comfortable, smooth-performing mouse.
  • The MX Vertical pivots traditional mouse design 90 degrees, and has the appealing look of a miniature cresting wave just about to break on your desktop. The entire mouse is constructed to simulate a neutral handshake gesture, a posture Logitech claims is ideal for reducing muscle strain and fatigue. They worked with ergonomists and engineers and considered hundreds of different shapes before settling on the final form factor for the MX Vertical, angled at 57 degrees to release pressure across your arm.
  • Provides three ways to attach it to a machine, either wirelessly via Bluetooth or through the provided USB dongle, or wired through USB-C to USB-A.
  • The MX Vertical is definitely an investment, but not priced out of the range of what you'd expect to pay for a high-end PC peripheral. For anyone that uses a mouse regularly and has struggled with soreness, muscle fatigue, or chronic pain, the MX Vertical is incredibly easy to recommend. Even for anyone who's never experienced those issues, the MX Vertical has quickly become one of my favorite mice and is a route to avoiding those problems in the future.

Reviews

Most customers were happy with the mouse's build quality, angle, and clicks. Some customers were annoyed the mouse requires Bluetooth 4.0 to work.

  • The mouse's build quality is on par with the MX Master, and the angle feels nice to use. I do miss hyper-fast scrolling and the side scroll from the MX Master. The middle click alone makes this way better than evoluent's options. The clicks feel and sound the same as the MX Master.

  • Product of excellent quality. I had to buy it for the pain in my arms I have. You adapt very quickly. The forward and back side buttons could be slightly less hard. Still, they look like they're gonna last a long time.

  • It works. While the first few hours were definitely pretty weird, within a day I was able to use the mouse at nearly full speed, and a bit over a week now, I've almost completely adapted and am just as quick and productive with it.

  • So... it fits my hand great (5'9" , right handed, male).. huge difference from regular mice and I have tried a lot. it feels more comfortable, and more precise at the same time. I love it, and use it at work (lots of writing and editing, some photoshop) and will be buying another for home. Extremely intuitive.

  • You have been warned. This mouse requires BT 4.0 to work. Otherwise you are stuck with the dongle or USB.
