  • This monitor is a great value for the combination of 100 hz refresh rate and USB-C enabled for a 1440p ultrawide. There are only a couple of options out there if you want an ultrawide that has those features (and 60+ hz refresh). The display is one of the best (better than the other 1440p LG ones I saw in person) I've seen on a 1440p monitor, color accurate, and I don't have any issues with dead pixels or excessive back-light bleed after ~ a week out of the box.

  • I am really impressed with this monitor. I was a little concerned after reading the other reviews, but I didn't encounter any issues setting it up using USB-C with the MacBook Pro. Straight out of the box with the included USB-C cable it delivered a 100-hertz refresh rate. One thing I noticed is if you toggle USB 3.0 in the monitor menu it will drop the refresh rate down to less than 30.

  • I purchased this with the intention of using with a Windows PC and a Macbook Pro 2018. USB-C (dp-alt) is clearly encouraged as a display method. However with the included USB-C cable the maximum refresh rate for the native resolution was 29hz, which is unacceptably slow. When I contacted support they told me that 29hz was the expected refresh rate at the native resolution. I don't know if that's accurate but it indicates that if you do have a problem it will not be addressed by support. Works as expected with Windows PC over DP.

  • The picture quality on this monitor is quite good. However, If you plan to use the Freesync function of this monitor at 100Hz, expect to have issues. While I cannot confirm, I believe that the 100Hz setting is an overclock, and not the native refresh rate of this monitor.

  • Excellent monitor for the price. The ultrawide sweet spot imo is at the 100hz refresh rate as it's harder for most graphics cards to keep the frame rate above 100 in most AAA games these days. Plus the jump from 60->100hz is definitely more noticeable than 100->144.
