Most customers were happy with the surge protector, it has a lot of outlets and the outlets are spaced out so they can fit larger plugs. Some customers were annoyed the surge protector will alert you if it is no longer protecting your devices because of a surge or old age.
Summarized ReviewI love the generous spacing of the outlets. I can easily fit any kind of plug without covering up the other outlets. Having the reset switch on the side, under the overhang is a godsend. The power cable being on a swivel is great, too, so you never have to worry about twisting.
NP · from AmazonI like that the plugins can slide over to protect from dust and dirt. I've attached this unit to the wall with it's 4 included screw holes at the back. I don't need the lightly glowing green light on it but happy that it isn't bright. I like the number of outlets with the 4 separated outter plugins that allow several larger items to be plugged without blocking other slots... like my wide drill charger plug or my to the wall Lumix camera battery charger.
Eric L · from AmazonThe cable is 6 foot and there is a switch at the end on the top. As soon as it plugged in the wall there is a green back plate that will illuminate telling you the power is on, no guessing. 12 receptacles 110 volt and 2 USB port 2.4 amps. As all APC product, they are made with attention. 4 holes in the back to be attached with screws. Don't take any chance, buy this product you will not regret it.
John D · from AmazonThis unit and its smaller cousin are well made and easy to use.
GON · from AmazonThere's no way to know how well a surge suppressor works until you need it. Hopefully you never need to find out. This one has one good feature that makes it better than most: it will alert you if it's no longer protecting because of a surge, or simply old age. That's right, surge suppressors don't last forever, but with most you never know if it's still protecting or not.
