Most customers were happy the surge protector has a lifetime guarantee, and they were pleased it has telephone, modem and coax inputs. Some customers were unhappy the outlets are too close together.
Summarized ReviewI've used Tripp Lite since my first job in IT, over 25 years ago, when they say Lifetime guarantee, they mean it I've seen these things fail in floods, storms and all sorts of conditions... but when *they* fail, they make sure your devices don't take the damage. And guess what, in every case, you send a photo of the strip to Tripp Lite and they *will* replace it with the same or closest current model.
TEGF · from AmazonI have two or three of these surge protectors laying around the house now, as I won't buy any other brand anymore. I used to work in retail selling TV's and Laptops, and one of my functions was to try to sell accessories. I wanted to make more money (and keep my job), but I also wanted to do right by the customer as much as possible, so I decided to learn as much as I could about each accessory and point people to the ones they needed, and away from the ones they didn't. I would say that what I learned over the years about surge protectors over the years was the most fruitful.
ID · from AmazonI use Tripp Lite for all my important electronics, as many of their models have by far the best specifications for protection of any brand I’ve found. I’m giving them the benefit of the doubt as I’ve not yet had a major lighting strike or other surge event that actually tested them.
LWAD · from AmazonAn affordable option for those who need power protection but also require telephone, modem and coax inputs.
AN · from AmazonThis surge suppressor has worked OK for the few weeks I've had it, but the outlets are too close together. There are 4 with plenty of room, but the rest are crowded.
