Most customers were happy with the quality of the camera, and the wide field of view. Some customers were annoyed the camera was a little saturated, and the inability to change the zoom factor.
Summarized ReviewFinally able to grab a webcam after most were out of stock or ridiculously high priced due to the demand of everyone doing virtual meetings because of covid-19. I was genuinely surprised by the quality of this webcam. For the cost, this is a very good deal because it is just as good as my Logitech c922 Pro Stream Webcam (higher end web cam) for half the cost. It even looks pretty similar to the logitech, with a slim and sleek look that won't distract. Packaging was simple, and easy to install within seconds. My computer (Windows 10) was able to recognize it quickly, and now able to use another computer at the office for virtual meetings!
Nick · from AmazonThis is its BEST feature - I have a very thin monitor and the clamp=on ones just popped off or sagged down. This one can either sit on your desk or go on top of monitor. I am VERY HAPPY! Resolution is fine for the video-conferencing for which I use it (Zoom). Audio is very good, too - picks it all up!
LT · from AmazonThere are a few things that I do not like about the device, however, I feel that this is greatly offset by the price of the camera. First things first, the camera itself is decent, it is not a great camera by any stretch of the imagination. Secondly, there is no ability to control the zoom factor (at least not in Mac OS). These two items are actually the only things that I dislike about the device. Pros: * Price * Easy setup (plug and play) * Works on Macbooks (including 2016+ models) * Microphone is of great quality Cons: * Camera, while decent, could produce a better image * Unable to change the zooming factor of the camera
Mike W · from AmazonI have been a fan of Aukey products for awhile, having used two pairs of their wireless headphones. I set this up for my employer on top of a 65" LED TV with a mini PC for use in a Zoom & Teams Conference Room. The room has hard, dark, wood paneled walls that cause a terrible echo and require noise cancelling for the microphones. It not only excelled in the low-light setting with a very clear picture, but also far out-performed a laptop with built in stereo microphones! Though it would be a little too wide in my messy home office, the wide angle made it great for capturing all of the tables and attendees in the room. This is a great improvement over a laptop webcam, and even some camera models that are just a couple years old.
Will M · from AmazonI was surprised (in a good way) with the quality for $50. It looks pretty good. Nice wide field of view. A little bit saturated, but hey, it's $50.
