  • I haven’t bought a Razer product before, but I had heard good things about the brand. First off, the picture quality is absolutely amazing. It is by far the best quality I’ve ever had from any webcam. This looks like “streamer” quality video even at low light. I haven’t really needed the ring light as much as I thought it would, because every other webcam needed more light where I was sitting. So, low light performance is really good out of the box! Adjusting the light is very intuitive, turning the dial brightens and darkens it. I do wish I could go to just a little bit lower level of light on its lowest setting, even after using the software to change it as low as possible. The viewing angle is also great and you can make a lot of adjustments with the stand.

  • This is an apparently well-built camera that produces a very nice picture, is nicely weighted and configured to sit on top of my external monitor as it comes, or sit on a tripod or other mount with a tripod-size screw. Unfortunately, if you're on a Mac, you'll be using it in UVC mode only (kind of a least-common-denominator compatibility mode) and there's no software from Razer that allows you to control the camera, nor update its firmware when required. You'll need to find a PC for firmware updates.

  • I really like Razer products and this camera is excellent. At night, the light works well to illuminate me in a soft white light. The picture quality is good for the price. I have had to disable the microphone to ensure I am able to use my headset microphone. Just switching the headset to default input wasn't enough. That was probably the only annoying thing about it.

  • The light is bright, but not overwhelming. The image quality and extremely clear and the camera does not run into any glitches
