Details

  • The Logitech C920 Pro Webcam is a top tech pick that captures sharp, high-definition (1080p) video with impressive auto white balance and quick autofocus.
  • Easy, no fuss, setup.
  • Billed as the first webcam that actually supports 1080p over Skype and 720p with other video calling services.
  • Takes 15 megapixel snapshots.
  • Comes complete with two built-in microphones for stereo sound.
  • Base can be mounted onto the top of a monitor, laptop, or screwed onto a stable tripod.
  • Almost certainly an upgrade over your computer’s built-in camera, and highly recommended it for situations where video-call quality counts.
  • To note, some cons are that the camera has less than 90 degrees of swivel, but the camera is small and light enough that it can be creatively worked around.
  • Packaged software inexplicably does not support 1080p video calling, which can only be attained with Skype.

  • I bought this to use as a webcam on my MacBook Pro and it's been really great so far. Everyone I call comments on the excellent picture quality (much better than the standard camera in the MacBook itself), and it really was 'plug and play' - once plugged in you just had to go into the various system/FaceTime settings to select it as the chosen camera. It has a neat little adjustable bracket assembly which allows you to fix it securely onto the top of your laptop or monitor - whatever their thickness - and allows you to adjust the angle so it sits just right too. The lens cover is a nice touch, for that added security that no one can remotely spy on you! I did try to use the integrated microphones but had some complaints of echo, so I think the MacBook struggles to do proper echo cancellation if it's not using its own mic and speakers together. Other than that no complaints!

  • Nice camera. I ordered this because it said it does video calls in 1080p and it has autofocus and light correction. For the majority of you this camera should work as described.

  • It works well for video calls, and I do not see the need to spend on something more expensive. PROS: -Good picture quality, good lighting, no need more -Good camera material, looks sturdy and quality -The window to cover the camera is very useful -The cable is long, to accommodate it in difficult places CONS: -Logitech software is very good, but neither skype nor zoom recognize as a source... so it becomes useless -If your monitor is not square of the margins, its grip is not the best. Works best with a mini tripod.

  • I bought this camera after seeing many recommendations of it from fellow podcasters (who use it for webinars and vlogging). I don't regret it all - the video quality is amazing, with great auto-focus and other useful filters. The sound is good, though I prefer to use with my Samson Q2 mic for podcasting/vlogging. Well worth buying for anyone looking for a great webcam at less than half the price of so-called superior products.

  • Use this for a conference room camera at work and its crisp. We use Zoom.us, paid, and once you find all the toggles for HD video on that software, this baby delivers! Recording yourself on your computer is even more crisp. Like "see every piece of stubble on my face" crisp.
